At 114 years old, the man believed to be the world’s oldest marathon runner died Monday after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in his home village of Beas Pind, India. Fauja Singh was the first centenarian and the oldest man to complete a full marathon at the age of 100 in 2011 when he ran the Toronto Waterfront Marathon. He was also a torchbearer for the London 2012 Olympics.
