Negative Side Air Control with Travis Brungardt

From The Build Show.

Travis Brungardt from the Build Show and Jake Boyer from Prosoco discuss the benefits of using Targeted Interior Air Seal for negative side air control, particularly in situations where exterior sealing is difficult or costly. This new product is a fluid-applied sealant containing glass beads and microspheres, designed to quickly and effectively seal gaps and cracks in interior walls, even in complex geometries like board sheathing. It can be applied using a gun, either sprayed or applied like a powered caulk, and requires minimal tooling, making it easy for even non-skilled applicators. The product builds up to fill voids, ensuring intimate contact and a durable air barrier, which is especially beneficial in older buildings or when future access to walls is needed. This interior air control strategy is part of Prosoco’s Cat5 solution, providing a reliable and long-lasting approach to air sealing.
