Katie Cederberg started having doubts about her relationship with Mark Lacek when he became controlling and started using drugs. She tried to end the relationship but Cederberg says he turned into a stalker. It reached a crisis when Lacek doused her Minnesota house with gas and set it on fire. When Lacek was arrested, he was giving off "a strong smell of gasoline." Despite Lacek being sentenced to 15 years, Cederberg says he continued to harass her from prison.
